Brandon replaces Marjory Douglas, who is retiring after 23 years with the firm.
Brandon Telford said: “I am delighted to be joining Galbraith as the firm continues to grow. I look forward to advising clients with a property to let, as well as helping tenants to secure a good-quality rental property in the region.”
Head of Residential Sales and Lettings for Galbraith, David Corrie, said: “Brandon brings with him a wealth of experience in lettings and will no doubt prove of great benefit to the team. All my colleagues will also join me in thanking Marjory Douglas for her dedication to Galbraith and we wish her all the best on her retirement.
“There remain good returns available to landlords in Ayrshire, due to the very strong demand for high-quality rental property, coupled with the limited supply. Rural rental properties in particular continue to generate exceptional interest. This allows landlords to secure a reliable tenant and develop a mutually beneficial long-term relationship. Landlords are taking the opportunity to increase rents at re-let and average rents continue to rise. We have increased to 15 the number of staff handling lettings and this appointment further strengthens our services in the rental sector.”
Galbraith provides a comprehensive range of property services including residential property and commercial property sales and lettings, and building consultancy services. In addition the firm manages and provides advice on farm, forestry, land and estate interests totaling over 4.5 million acres across Scotland and northern England.
