The award also confers full membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
The Assessment of Professional Competence is a programme of practical experience and continuing professional development. It marks the culmination of extensive training provided by Galbraith, along with hard work and dedication from the candidates themselves.

The eight new chartered surveyors include five members of the firm’s rural division – Ian Armstrong based in Aberdeen, Anna Fisher, Olivia Smith and Alistair Torrance working from the firm’s Stirling office and Claire Macdonald, based in Inverness.
In the Galbraith building consultancy division, Alan Henderson and Josh Lamb also passed their APC, both based in the firm’s headquarters in Edinburgh.
In the firm’s estate agency team, Iain Paterson provides residential sales and rural advice for clients, based in the Perth office.
Ian Armstrong, Claire, Anna and Olivia passed at the end of 2023, with their colleagues passing in 2024.
