Mungo Ingleby joins the Sporting Lets department, based in Perthshire, which offers bespoke sporting holidays throughout Scotland. Mungo is from the Stirlingshire area and is a keen field sportsman having been involved in country pursuits from an early age.
Robert Rattray, partner at CKD Galbraith and head of the firm's Sporting Lets agency, said: "This year we have witnessed a favourable sporting season. Together with the skilled and dedicated estate staff, we managed to help a number of newcomers catch their first salmon or shoot their first grouse or stag and remarkably there were a number of Macnabs achieved this year.
"We have had a particularly favourable grouse season, one of the strongest shooting seasons for many years. Although the Scottish salmon fishing season has been somewhat frustrating given the poor weather conditions, there have been some notable exceptions with the likes of the Shin enjoying an exceptional season as well as the Tay which continued to fish well right through the season.
"We are delighted to have brought Mungo onboard. He provides a real boost to our team bringing with him an enormous amount of knowledge and enthusiasm for all field sports and we are all very much looking forward to another busy sporting season for 2014 with a strengthened team of experts in place."
Mungo said: "Having completed degrees at the Universities of St Andrews and Reading I worked in commercial property for six years but my passion has always been fieldsports. I am, therefore, delighted to have joined the Sporting Lets team of CKD Galbraith.
"In addition to my six years in a suit I have spent three full seasons working in fieldsports. I have worked on a stalking estate, as a ghillie on Grimersta Estate on Lewis, and have managed a fishing camp in Russia. I am greatly looking forward to putting my skills and experience into practice as part of the CKD Galbraith Sporting Lets team."
