Scotland's west coast has long been renowned for its spectacular coast line, idyllic islands and peacefulness compared to other coastal regions in the UK such as Cornwall and Devon. CKD Galbraith now has a number of local consultants focused exclusively on this region.
The firm has been expanding their presence along the coast and are now delighted to announce the appointment of another dedicated consultant to cover Argyll and the Isles. Nicky Archibald brings with her extensive experience within the property sector as well as in-depth knowledge of the local market.
Nicky has lived in the Argyll region for six years, the best part of which has been spent in the property industry, helping several Oban based firms build their property portfolios from scratch. Alongside her consultancy role for CKD Galbraith, Nicky is a board member for BID 4 Oban and a member of the Luing Community Council, as well as planning the build of her own house.
Nicky said; "I'm delighted to be joining CKD Galbraith at this very exciting time for the property market in Argyll and working with clients at a local level in this beautiful and popular part of Scotland. The area has a wonderfully diverse mix of properties and I very much look forward to the opportunities this will bring."
Niall Macalister Hall - who also joined the firm this year to represent the Argyll and Isles market - has noted the significant increase throughout 2014 in property sales in the region, he added; "The local market is demanding experienced consultants but local knowledge is imperative too for these more rural regions."
CKD Galbraith is confident that the market will continue to develop. A recent report published by the Registers of Scotland for the period July-September 2014 shows that Argyll and Bute experienced an a 3.2% increase in the average property price compared to the same period last year and an increase of 12.4% in property sales.
